Minimum 3 players needed for the tournament.
When we reach the following number of total participants, we will raffle off 1 copy of Splendor to a lucky participant. (This copy was a new copy opened and used only for this tournament):
5 players: raffle 1x Splendor
9 players: raffle 2x Splendor, one each to 2 different players
13 players: raffle 3x Splendor, one each to 2 different players
Max Player Count - 16
Number of Rounds - 3 for 4-8 players, 4 for 9-18 players.

Join us for a 3-4 round Swiss-style tournament!
All tables will only be playing with the Splendor base game.
Rules:

At the end of the 45 minutes for each round, the game immediately ends and points are counted.

Participants are responsible for their table preparation and setup verification and tallying of final scores.

At the end of the game, the results sheet is completed and verified by all participants at the table. The winner is responsible for submitting it to the tournament staff.

Scoring will follow the below structure:

1st: X+3

2nd: X+1

3rd: X-1

4th: X-3

X is the number of players at the table

In case of a tie between two players, the points are shared.

For example, at a table of 4 players, 2nd and 3rd players are tied so they each earn 4 points. (Add 2nd and 3rd place together (5 + 3 = 8) then divide by 2)

Victory points for this round are 7, 4, 4, 1 instead of 7, 5, 3, 1.

A seeding tiebreaker score may also be used to determine placing at tables.
